Ganope Main Objectives Cover Ganope Work Areas, as large as possible, by oil exploration & exploitation agreements through tendering its blocks in international bid rounds. Increase Egypt's production & add more certain & possible reserves of crude oil and natural gas. Establish joint venture companies to manage operations on behalf of Ganope & its partners. Encourage investment in petroleum projects. Establish strategic petroleum projects to enhance the development wheel in Upper Egypt. Construct & Supervise: running oil refineries, petrochemical companies, Butagas filling stations, its distribution points & vehicles fuel and services in Upper Egypt. Prepare plans required for developing and modernizing oil and gas industry in Ganope work areas to improve the economic performance of affiliated companies. Prepare feasibility studies to different investments projects and share in choosing the projects sites. Harvest of 3 Years Since the company’s establishment year 2003, and up to 2006, Ganope: Signed 7 agreements with Canadian, English, Emirati, and Australian Companies. Aawarded 5 Blocks to four international companies: Two for an Australian company and one for each of, a Syrian, Indian, and English companies. These concessions were tendered in the international Bid Round 2006. Legal procedures are under way to sign them. Geisum’s gradual fall off production rate was solved and its stability was maintained for a period of three years at an average of 8300 BOPD. This was due to performing operations without using drillers and the usage of the wire unit in safekeeping some wells. Also the hydraulic unit was used in safekeeping HWOU wells and removing strangulations in production facilities. Geisum’s oil, gas and condensates reaming and subject for extraction reserves were updated and increased from 17.4 MMBO to 33.8 MMBO.

Ganope Main Objectives

� Prepare required plans to develop and update petroleum and gas industry to improve economic performance of affiliated companies through maximizing its production and reserves.

� Ensure the fulfillment of the local market and exports present and future needs.

� Execute petroleum projects by itself or by others>

� Promote related investments in co-ordination with Egyptian, Arab and International companies specialized in investments attraction.

� Prepare feasibility studies to investments projects by itself or by others and share in choosing the projects sites.

� Participate in petroleum prospecting, exploration, exploitation, development, and production activities.

� Execute required studies to determine present and future petroleum products demands.

� Establish database and information for all petroleum activities.

� Conclude contracts required to refine and process crude oil in refineries lying under its supervision.

� Sell and buy oil and its products.

� Offer advisory, technical and administrative services needed to obtain lands, utilities, approvals, and authorizations to investors who seek to execute projects.

� Supervise: the running oil refineries and petrochemicals companies, distribution of petroleum products points, delivery, storage of gas, oil, and all the products in the South Valley.

� Participate with authorities in determining the specifications of oil materials and its process.

� Co-ordinate with EGPC, EGAS, and Echem, and affiliated companies with respect to Ganop's activities.
